Couples Photography in Denver Colorado

Check out images from this Colorado couples photography session in Denver. They wanted to celebrate their engagement with a photography session that included their 3 kids. So, we met up at Central Park around the Stapleton neighborhood in Denver for the portrait session. It was a beautiful spring day. Because of that, the landscape and trees were starting to turn really green which made for a great background for photos.

Their family grew

Bobbi Jo and her fiance shared with me how they met at work and hit it off. They both had kids from a previous chapter in their lives. So soon with the marriage their family would grow and their kids would have new brothers and sisters. Because we had a larger group of people, we did a mix of photos. Some included images of couples photography with just Bobbi Jo and her fiance. Other groupings included images of just the kids and then everyone together as well.

Central Park offered some great variety for couples photography in Colorado

One of the boys seemed like he’d rather be playing in the park than taking photos but I got him to smile a few times. We walked around to different areas in the park. There are trails that run throughout the area. Some going by a water way and a small pond. Others meandering through the grass and hills. It was nice to have some variety in our portraits all within a pretty small area.

My favorite things about couples photography

I love being able to capture joy in my couples photography. Its so fun to give my clients something to discuss or an activity to do and see how it unfolds. Above all, I believe in capturing natural expressions. Its so easy when my clients are with their favorite person in the world. I also enjoy seeing families grow. Every family is different and its so cool to see how people are brought together and how that in turn brings other people together.
