Colorado Wedding with a fun Primary Color Theme
Brittany and Kevin got married at Wedgewood at Brittany Hill in Thornton, Colorado. The underlying colors of their wedding were blue, yellow and red. These colors brought a bright and cheerful feeling to their wedding decor. Read on to see how they used them in the their wedding. I hope this gives you inspiration as you’re thinking about ideas for your own Colorado wedding.
Brittany & Kevin’s Colorado Wedding Party
The wedding party was styled with contrasting colors. First of all, the girls wore red dresses. Second, the groomsmen had all blue suits. Furthermore they tied it together with the guys wearing red ties to match the ladies. They also had Kevin, the groom, stand out a little by having him in a grey suit vest while the other groomsmen wore blue suit vests. Brittany the bride went with a traditional white dress and classic pearls. As a result, her colorful bouquet really popped out in contrast of the white dress.
They choose sunflowers, roses and mums for this Colorado wedding. The bride’s bouquet also had some touches of blue to tie in with the guys suits. Sunflowers were definitely the ones that stood out the most to me. They were so bright and fun. The centerpieces also highlighted some red lilies in the arrangements.
Colorado Wedding Ceremony & Reception Decor
Brittany and Kevin decided to use the flowers at their ceremony site in the reception as well. So during cocktail hour their florist took down the floral arrangement that hung over them while they said their vows. She then relocated it to their sweetheart table for the reception. Sunflowers, mums, roses and lilies were beautifully arranged around the dessert table and yellow up-lighting was set around the reception room.
