More FAQ's for Colorado Weddings

How far in advance should we book a Colorado wedding photographer?
Most couples book their wedding photographer anywhere from 6 months to 1.5 years out from their wedding date.  The earlier you book the more likely it is that photographers will have availability.  But we don't have a set time frame and are happy to check our availability at any time.  We've booked weddings as early as 1 month beforehand if we have the date open.

Do you help with timeline planning?
Yes!  We are happy to work with you to suggest a wedding timeline for your day that reflects what you want to capture with photographs.  We also can collaborate with wedding planners on timeline planning to make sure the photographs you want are reflected in the plan for the day.

How many images do we receive?
On average we deliver about 100 images an hour.  Sometimes its a little bit less and sometimes a little more depending on how the wedding day unfolds.

Do you photograph rehearsal dinners?
Yes!  We can absolutely photograph rehearsal dinners or different pre and post wedding celebrations.  We've captured photos of golf games, brunch celebrations and more to ensure our clients can relive the entirety of their Colorado wedding experience.

What happens if the weather changes?
Each wedding is different so it depends on the situation.  But we can adapt to weather changes by doing things like rearranging the timeline of photos, capturing photos indoors, using umbrellas in portraits, and shortening our outdoor portrait experience.  We understand that changing weather is part of the Colorado wedding experience, so our goal is to be flexible, and offer you solutions that fit your day.

Can I print the images?
Yes!  We have a print store connected to your personal gallery that goes to a photography lab that we know and trust.  You can order prints directly through there.  You'll also have a print release for the images if you would like to take them somewhere else to get them printed and need proof of permission.  We don't have any restrictions for how you personally use the wedding images we deliver.

Do you offer albums and wall art?
Yes! We do have options for wedding albums and can create artwork like canvas, metal, and framed prints.  If you'd like some help picking things out or designing an art piece in your home, we're happy to help.

Weddings don’t always run exactly on schedule — especially in the mountains. We adapt quickly, stay grounded, and help you feel steady no matter what the day brings.

From bright alpine sun to sudden weather shifts, we know how to work with Colorado’s ever-changing light and high-altitude environments to create flattering, natural images.

We are easy to talk to, clear in our communication, and intentional about creating a relaxed atmosphere so you never feel stiff or overly posed.

"We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding and engagement photos! Nichole was great from the very beginning with coordinating the shoot at Red Rocks and carried that all the way through to our Wedding in Granby. She was very polite, honest, and professional. Nichole did a great job of making us feel comfortable and really captured the moment. Nichole's photography style is also amazing, really highlighting the vibrance of the environment in a realistic way. I would highly recommend Nichole!

Jera & Bob

“Nichole is amazing! We decided to book her for both our engagement session and wedding photography and absolutely loved her work both times. She is professional and punctual and really knows how to maximize her time to provide the best photos. She was also really great at making us feel comfortable in front of the camera so that she could capture these really sweet/memorable moments during our sessions. And she’s quick! Sneak Peeks and full galleries always came back faster than expected which was exciting for us. I would 1000% book Nichole again and recommend her to friends because it was such a pleasure to work with her”

Stephanie & Will

"There are not enough good things I can say about Nichole. She is so kind, warm, and amazing. She captured our special day and helped our remarkable memories last forever (even in some extreme weather). She’s very responsive and comprehensive about what you’d like for your wedding day. Highly recommended and loved working with her."
