I met up with Jana and Mike at their cabin in Glen Haven for their Colorado engagement photography session. I could hear the noise of the water flowing through the stream by their cabin, which was so relaxing. They both greeted me with wine in hand and seemed like they were having an enjoyable relaxing afternoon at the cabin. They both really love this spot, which is why they’ve decided to do their wedding ceremony here with a small group of family.

Engagement Photography & Wedding Plans

I came up to scope out the area and see what they had planned for their wedding, and also to do an engagement photography session at their cabin in Glen Haven which is around Estes Park, Colorado. There’s a lot of scenic areas right around their cabin which is going to make for a lovely wedding. The ceremony is going to take place on their deck with overlooks the stream and is surrounded by pine and aspen trees. Its going to be great spot for a small intimate celebration.

Colorado Engagement Photography in Glen Haven

Glen Haven is a very small town in between Estes Park and Loveland, Colorado. Its nestled in a quiet little canyon and surrounded by some beautiful wilderness. Bears and other wildlife are common to see around the area, although we didn’t see any during our photography session. Their dog Harley was the only other animal that joined us. He’s a super fluffy sweet Chow pup who jumped in and out of photos behaving like a perfect little gentleman.
