Engagement Photos at Lookout Mountain with Sara & Kent
Last weekend I met up with Sara & Kent for their Engagement photos at Lookout Mountain in Golden, Colorado. We walked through the forest around the nature center and then spent some time at a spot with beautiful mountain views. With all the rain happening lately, we lucked out and got some good warm weather with a little bit of cloud cover. It was a beautiful day!
Hockey brought these two together
Hockey brought these two together. So of course they brought their hockey jerseys and we did a few engagement photos at Lookout Mountain in their jerseys. When they met, Sara wanted to date someone who was really close by to where she lived in Denver. At the time Kent was living in Golden, but when Sara saw that he played hockey she made an exception. He worked in Denver, so it was still easy for them to meet, and the rest is history.
Getting to know each other as we took engagement photos at Lookout Mountain
We had fun taking engagement photos at Lookout Mountain together. Sara & Kent were both very down to earth people. They shared with me a little more about their lives as we took photos. They are both pet lovers and have 2 dogs. A great pyrenees and a black lab who didn’t join us for the engagement photos.
Kent actually grew up living around Lookout mountain so being there brought back some memories. They thought about getting a house in the area but decided they both wanted a little more space and somewhere centrally located. So they ended up in Westminster.
Stumbling across their wedding venue
When they were looking for their wedding venue they kind of stumbled across the location. Kent was sent out to the new venue for work, The Woodlands. When he saw the location he started texting photos to Sara letting her know he found a great place for them.
