Looking for inspiration for your Colorado Wedding?

Colorado weddings are so unique and fun.  As a Colorado wedding photographer I really enjoy seeing each couple’s different style, the colors they choose and the details that are important to them.  If you’re in the midst of planning a wedding yourself, I just wanted to share a little bit from Natasha and Danny’s wedding.  They decided to go with purple as an underlying color for their big day.

Flowers & bridesmaid dresses

Natasha’s bouquet had a mix of colors with some white, green and different shades of purple throughout it.  It included roses, Picasso calla lilies, and aspen greenery.  Her bridesmaids all had the same color purple dresses but they got to choose their own style.  So each dress was slightly different.

Ceremony details

The flower girl walked down the aisle tossing out purple and white petals.  They also choose florals to decorate the inner part of the aisle, hanging on chairs with pops of purple and green.  And above the archway as they said their vows hung purple and green flowers.  They were super fun and goofy and danced their way back down the aisle after being pronounced husband and wife.

 

Groom and groomsmen

Danny choose a purple bow tie and a purple and a white/purple calla lily as his boutonniere.  The rest of the guys wore purple ties with purple vests and similar boutonnieres to match Danny’s.

Reception details

The purple theme continued with this Colorado wedding into the reception.  Purple up-lighting adorned the walls around the room.  The tablecloths were decorated in purple and white.  In addition they did a geode cake with purple and pink rock candy.
