Brainard Lake Elopement with Bradly & Rachel just outside of Boulder Colorado
Check out images from this adorable Brainard Lake elopement with Bradly and Rachel. Brainard Lake is a great summer elopement location in Colorado offering an alpine lake and stunning mountain views in all directions. Bradly and Rachel picked this spot as their elopement location because they wanted mountain scenery during their vows and portraits. They also wanted to capture some of the fall colors that were changing at the time. For fall colors, we ended up going to an additional location nearby to do some portraits among a grove of aspens.
Brainard Lake Elopement with Fall Colors
About a 20 minute drive from Brainard Lake is the Switzerland Trailhead which has a lovely grove of aspen trees. We drove over there for more couple portraits after doing vows at Brainard lake. One part of the aspen grove was starting to turn vibrant yellow and orange colors. This ended up being a wonderful spot to capture the fall colors during their elopement.
About Bradly & Rachel
Bradly and Rachel moved to Colorado recently from Texas. They both love the outdoors, especially the mountains. That’s one of the reasons why they picked Brainard lake as their elopement location. Rachel also loves trees and was excited about capturing fall colors around the area. These two were quirky and fun, making faces at each other as we did portraits. They also had an adorable daughter who was just a baby and was also really excited about Bradly’s boutonniere.
Brainard Lake Elopement Along the Lakeshore
Out of all the places to elope in Colorado, Brainard Lake is one of my favorites. We choose a spot along the lake shore to do their vows. Bradly and Rachel had a small group of family and friends join in their day at Brainard Lake. They all stood in a loose circle as Bradly and Rachel said their vows with the mountains as their ceremony backdrop. We then did family photos in that same spot and walked around the lake for more romantic portraits afterwards.
Thanks Bradly & Rachel
Bradly & Rachel, it was such a pleasure to capture this day for you two. Thanks for adventuring around the lake with me and down the Switzerland trail for portraits around the fall colors. I hope you two had a wonderful evening after we parted ways. I wish you two much happiness as you enter into this new chapter in your lives as husband and wife. Congratulations again!
