What a beautiful fall day to capture this Vail wedding with Susanna and Seth! The colors were changing all over the Vail valley. We were so fortunate to do some wedding photography for both the bride and the groom in spots where there were amazing mountain views.

Not Seeing Each Other Before the Wedding

They wanted the first time Seth saw Susanna in her wedding dress to be when she walked down the aisle. As they both got ready is separate locations there was a feeling of excitement and anticipation in the air. They both worked for a local church in Edwards, Colorado. That was a big part of both of their lives and what brought them together. As they dated and got engaged they decided they didn’t want to see each other before the wedding and that they also wanted to save their first kiss for their wedding day!

Vail Wedding Photography with Colorful Mountain Views

We took the photos of Susanna and her bridesmaids at a local golf course in Edwards. Then we did photos of Seth with his groomsmen at a local residence where they were getting ready. It was super fun to take photos at both locations, overlooking the Vail Valley. Fall colors spread throughout the hillsides making for some beautiful colorful Vail wedding photography. We even came back to the golf course location for some romantic images of Susanna and Seth after the ceremony.

Wedding Ceremony at Bearcat Stables

The wedding ceremony was at Bearcat Stables. Chairs were set up in grassy area around a wooden archway decorated with red and blush floral arrangements. With the church being a central part of both their lives, Susanna and Seth incorporated worship into their service. They had musicians who led them in song with their guests, and also shared communion together.

The Wedding First Kiss

This wedding first kiss was their very first kiss, so it was so exciting for both of them. These two were so adorable and I loved the images that we captured of them walking back down the aisle after this moment. The joy and smiles on their faces was such a beautiful thing to photograph.
