Grand Lake Colorado Wedding Venue at Daven Haven Lodge & Point Park with Robin and Scott

This Grand Lake Colorado wedding venue with Robin and Scott was really unique. They set up their ceremony along the pier at Point Park on the shores of Grand Lake. The mountains and lake acted as a beautiful backdrop behind them. And then after the ceremony their guests walked over to Daven Haven Lodge for the reception which was just a few blocks away.

Setting up on the Pier for this Grand Lake Colorado Wedding Venue

The pier was long and skinny. With their small wedding party, 1 on each side, it worked well for them. They stood up at the end of the pier to say their vows and their guests sat in short rows on either side stretched back to the shore. Boats went by them in the background with people enjoying the lake and the beautiful weather.

Destination wedding to Grand Lake

Both Robin & Scott as well as their guests flew in from out of state. They all made it a fun destination wedding weekend. The Daven Haven Lodge was a great Colorado wedding venue for this. The property is filled with small cabins which was great lodging for everyone. They didn’t have to travel after the reception. They just walked back to their cabins and then got to spend the weekend there.
