Sunrise Amphitheater wedding in Boulder, Colorado with Michelle and Brandon.
Michelle and Brandon traveled from Wisconsin to Colorado for their Sunrise Amphitheater wedding. They both had traveled to Colorado separately in the past and really loved it. So they decided to make a road trip and have their wedding in the mountains. This was a beautiful intimate ceremony at the Sunrise Amphitheater. They gathered with close friends and family at the stone amphitheater nestled in pine trees looking out over Boulder, CO.
They had the cutest ring bearer
Their two year old daughter acted as the ring bearer. She wore a beige dress and brown cowboy boots. When it came to the ring exchange she gave them their rings and then she just wanted to stand by her mom and dad. So she held hands with her mom as Brandon put the ring on Michelle’s finger. It was adorable.
Wedding portraits around the Sunrise Amphitheater
We met up for photos before the ceremony at a spot a little further down Flagstaff Road called Lost Gulch Overlook. Mountain views extend as far as the eye can see there towards the west. Rolling hills give way to the rugged peaks in Rocky Mountain National Park. Its a stunning location and I’m so glad we were able to spend a little time there. For Sunrise Amphitheater weddings its a great spot for photos because it’s only about a 10 minute drive from the ceremony location.
Details from Michelle and Brandon’s Sunrise Amphitheater Wedding
They wanted to have accent colors like the sunset, so their flowers were a mix of orange and blue. Their decorations were simple and elegant with two large metal vases containing colorful flowers framing the ceremony site. I loved their rings too! Brandon played professional baseball and that was part of what brought them together. That showed off in his ring, with red stitches like what you would see on a baseball. It was so fun and unique!
Thanks Michelle and Brandon!
Michelle and Brandon, thanks so much for inviting me to share in this day with you and your friends and family! It was a beautiful ceremony and I’m so glad that I could capture these moments for you. I hope you two had an amazing road trip with the wedding and I hope you make it back out to Colorado again sometime soon.
