Boulder Engagement Photography with Kali & Yates along the South Mesa Trail in Boulder, Colorado
This is one of my favorite places to do engagement photography in Boulder Colorado. Its such a scenic trail with the flatirons in the background. There’s also a ton of variety in places to photograph there. There’s a creek that runs near the trail. The trees are beautiful and the mountains are fun too. There’s even a small meadow and a grassy area at the start of the trail.
Boulder Engagement Photography with a lot of variety
I met up with Kali & Yates in the late afternoon. They wanted to have a lot of variety in their engagement photos and this was a great place to accomplish that. One thing that was on their list of Boulder engagement photography was some things lying down in a meadow. When we got there the grass in the meadow was crazy tall so we ended up doing those photos at the start of the trail head instead.
Nature was important to them with their engagement photography
Nature was important to them in both their engagement and wedding photos. Faith is also central to their lives. So they picked the Mother Cabrini Shrine as the spot for their wedding. Its a catholic church that on one of the high points in Golden. It looks out over the mountains and has a ton of beautiful little gardens.

As we did their engagement photography, I was getting excited about their wedding day as well. At this time it was just a few weeks away from the wedding. They had most everything sorted out and were also getting excited to have that day come soon.
