Idaho Springs Engagement Photography with Taylor & Kaitlin at a private residence
Taylor & Kaitlin decided to do their Idaho Springs engagement photography session at a private residence just outside of town in the mountains. A friend of the family owned this beautiful property and they thought it would be a great fit for portraits. There was a small cabin on a creek, along with a field full of aspens, and a cute little patio area with a hammock.
About Kaitlin & Taylor
Kaitlin & Taylor met in high school and have been dating ever since. Its rare that you find two people that are high school sweethearts. I thought that was really cute. Taylor loves football and brought some fun props with him to the engagement session, including a football that read “I will always love you, even during football season”. The are both easy going people that love the outdoors. It was a pleasure to capture engagement photos of them.
Idaho Springs Engagement Photography with Fall Colors
When we met in September the colors in the mountains were starting to change. It was a perfect time for this Idaho Springs engagement photography session. The field where we started portraits had bright yellows and light greens from the aspens that surrounded it. The way the sun was coming through in the meadow made those colors pop and come alive. We also walked down by the creek which had some larger trees that were starting to change colors as well. Some of Taylor and Kaitlin’s family came with them for this session. They made signs and brought some other fun props along with some outfit changes to use during our time with gave them a lot of variety.
Thanks Taylor & Kaitlin
Taylor & Kaitlin, thanks for choosing me to capture this time for you two. I’m excited to meet back up with you for the wedding, even in part of it has been pushed back due to the pandemic. I hope you two are doing well, staying safe and having some fun with the last details of your wedding planning. Much love to you and see you soon!
