Colorado Elopement in Estes Park with Zsanee & Dan at Rocky Mountain National Park
It was my pleasure to be the Colorado elopement photographer for Zsanee & Dan at Rocky Mountain National Park this past February. It was a little bit snowy but a beautiful day for the two of them as they said their vows at 3m Curve. They both had a fun and quirky attitude incorporating bright colors and unique elements into their wedding. Along with including some family history and remembering loved ones with their wedding details.
Colorado Elopement with an Enchanted Forest Theme
They had their ceremony at the overlook point at 3m Curve in Rocky Mountain National Park and then the reception at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. Being in Estes Park and wanting a unique wedding, they decided to create their decor and details around an enchanted forest theme. This included bright orange and blue colors, and fluffy tails on their friends outfits that helped Zsanee with her dress. And they also read their vows from small scrolls during the ceremony. It was fun and like nothing I had seen before.
Incorporating Family & Heritage
Zsanee honored family members during this elopement by wearing a wedding dress train that has been in the family for many years. It was very long ruffled lace train. Her two friends helped her maneuver the train as she walked along the snowy trail to get to their ceremony spot. She also had photos of loved ones situated in her bouquet.
Dan honored his heritage by incorporating the Romanian tradition into their wedding of crowning the bride and groom. As we did portraits after their ceremony, they looked like a king and queen with their wedding attire and crowns.
Colorado Elopement at Rocky Mountain National Park
Rocky Mountain National Park is one of my favorite places to photograph couples at as a Colorado elopement photographer. The natural beauty there is so stunning. It was such a pleasure to share in this snowy Colorado elopement with Zsanee & Dan. They traveled from the East Coast for this making it a destination trip for them and their close friends and family.
Thanks Zsanee & Dan!
Zsanee & Dan, thanks so much for entrusting me to capture your elopement. It was so fun and unique! You picked a wonderful place to travel to and celebrate with everyone. I’m so glad you were able to do so before things started changing in a big way with the pandemic. I hope you two had a wonderful trip! I wish you two much happiness. Much love to you and congrats again!
