Boettcher Mansion Wedding

Boettcher Mansion wedding with Courtney & Andy

Courtney & Andy’s Boettcher Mansion wedding was a mix of rustic elegance and a lively group of friends and family. The thing that stands out to me most is the moment right before the end of the reception. All their guests joined in one big dance together. They made a giant circle and all swayed back and forth to the music as one big group. Courtney and Andy then went around the circle and gave hugs and thanks to everyone that joined them. It was super touching and sweet.

Celebration During the Reception

The reception was important to Courtney and Andy. They were excited to share in that party and celebrate with their friends and family. It was fun to see their personalities come through during the reception in the details. They both are into trivia, so during speeches Courtney’s dad did a trivia game between Andy and Courtney’s mom.

Later on during dancing, Andy and his friends showed their love for boy bands. I’ve never seen so much boy band lip singing from a groom and his friends before. It cracked me up and they all looked like they were having a blast!

There were little dragon fly decorations in Courtney’s flowers and her hair to honor her grandmother. Wood carvings with their initials acted as center pieces. And they did a glow stick formal send off.

Boettcher Mansion Wedding Portraits

Boettcher Mansion is located in Golden Colorado near Lookout Mountain. Its a beautiful location with trails that wander through a forest of pine trees and a section with an amazing view towards the mountains in the west. For this Boettcher Mansion wedding we did some portraits right around the venue before the ceremony.

Then later, we walked through the parking lot and across the street to find the mountains views. It was nice to add some variety to their portraits. They were a little adventurous and maneuvered down a rocky trail to get to the good location. It was totally worth it!

Thanks Courtney & Andy
