North Star Gatherings Wedding with Caitlyn & Trevor

This North Star Gatherings wedding with Caitlyn & Trevor was romantic and lively. As Caitlyn was finishing up getting ready, Trevor dropped off a gift to her before the wedding ceremony. In the box were beautiful vintage pearls and a romantic note. Caitlyn smiled as her maid of honor helped her put them on. Trevor was full of sweet actions like this along with his goofy and playful demeanor.

Large families with playful attitudes

Not only was Trevor a goofy guy, so was his whole family. His 6 brothers and 1 sister were all part of the wedding party. When we did photos for this North Star Gatherings wedding before the ceremony, they all wanted to do a variety of different silly images. It was a really fun atmosphere to be part of. And of course with Caitylyn & Trevor, we did a variety of photos including some silly ones and dipping photos.

The North Star Gatherings venue

North Star Gatherings is a new wedding venue. It was an honor to be part of one of the first few weddings that took place here. It has a functional and scenic layout making the most of the mountains its nestled in. Upstairs there’s a private getting ready room for the ladies. The room has beautiful bright light and a number of mirrors so that multiple people can get ready at the same time. The ceremony location is outside on the deck which looks out towards the west with views of the mountain range around Idaho Springs in the background. Cocktail hour is held on the deck which wraps around the building providing plenty of space for people to mingle. And the reception is inside the large barn-like structure with large windows and beautiful wooden farm-style tables.

Sunset photos were important to Caitlyn and Trevor. They couldn’t have picked a better venue for it. As the sun was starting to set, beautiful color spread out around the visible mountain range. We were able to walk down to a rocky area just below the ceremony spot before the reception kicked things off. This was a great location allowing for mountain views and vibrant color.

Caitlyn & Trevor, thanks so much for entrusting me to capture your day. I had a lot of fun with you and your friends and family. Your goofy attitudes made me laugh and your love for each other is really beautiful. I wish you two many adventures and much joy as you go into this new chapter in your lives.
