Small Wedding Colorado at Boettcher Mansion in Golden with Grace and Jamie

This year has been full of Colorado small weddings, like this small wedding with Grace and Jamie at Boettcher Mansion. They were hoping for a larger celebration but decided to move forward with their wedding plans with a smaller group of about 35 people. I know they would have loved to have more of their family and friends celebrate in person with them, but I do think there are some benefits to having a smaller celebration. In my opinion, the main benefit is to be able to spend more quality time with each of the guests. With people sometimes coming from such a long way, its nice to connect with them more during the wedding.

Boettcher Mansion and Lookout Mountain

Grace and Jamie had an outdoor ceremony on the deck of Boettcher Mansion in Golden. The venue is nestled in a lovely pine forest. And its also just a short walk to amazing overlook on Lookout Mountain, which has beautiful views looking out towards Denver and the mountains to the west. After the ceremony we did some portraits on the grounds of Boettcher Mansion and then walked over to catch some of the mountain views. Grace and Jamie both love to adventure outdoors, so the mountains were important to them as elements in their photos. Boettcher Mansion was a great venue for this small wedding in Colorado to encompass their love for the outdoors.

Grace & Jamie’s Story

A slideshow with photos of Grace and Jamie hiking and spending time outside was playing on the wall in the reception area. Grace and Jamie met through a dating service. Jamie thought she was beautiful and they soon found they had a lot in common with a love for outdoor activities. Jamie during their ceremony talked about how Grace had such a big heart and how he saw her go out of her way to do special things for others that she didn’t even know. Which just made him fall deeper in love with her.
