Boulder Weddings – Wedgewood Boulder Creek with Lisa & Kevin

This was one of the cutest Boulder weddings at Wedgewood Boulder Creek with Lisa & Kevin. The ceremony was on the small grassy area right near Boulder creek in the winter. It was during November so they had some blankets out for their guests and Lisa wore a shawl over her dress to stay warm. They said their vows under a beautiful aspen archway with string lights hanging above them. And most of the guests consisted of their close family, kids, grand kids, and their two dogs.

Boulder Weddings with Dogs

I’m a total animal lover so I got a kick out of these two pups who were part of the wedding. They roamed free during the ceremony, walking down the aisle with Kevin and then with Lisa. And hung out around their feet as they said their vows. They even joined in on the dance floor later on for the reception. One of the pups had a collar that said “I loved her first” and the other one said “dog of honor”. It was so cute!

Celebrating with Family

This was an intimate wedding that consisted mostly of family and close friends. Kevin and Lisa were both super warm and excited to celebrate! Their kids acted as their maid of honor and best man. And during the reception I think their grand kids had a blast dancing with the glow sticks that they incorporated into the party. During their first kiss all their grand kids said something along the lines of “ewww” before everyone clapped.

Lisa & Kevin, thanks for inviting me to be part of your day. It was a pleasure to capture photos of the two of you and your family. Just spending a day with you I can see that the love you have for each other is so strong and beautiful! I’m so glad you two found each other. I hope you enjoyed your trip to Colorado and are doing well with all the crazy things happening in the world right now. Much love to you two and congrats again!!
