Denver Wedding and Engagement Photography with Tina & Rob in Northglenn & Cheesman Park
This Denver Wedding and Engagement photography session with Tina & Rob all happened in the same week. They moved recently to Alabama, but came back to Colorado for the wedding. I offer engagement photography sessions for all the couples who book with me. Since they were out of town we just did their engagement session a few days before the actual wedding. That way they were able to have images of both them in their wedding attire and their normal every day clothes.
Denver engagement photography at Cheesman Park
We did the engagement photography session at Cheeseman Park in Denver. It was hot, but as they just flew in from Alabama the dry heat didn’t seem so bad. They shared with me that they knew each other as kids in High School. Tina & Rob ended up taking different paths in terms of their significant others but stayed friends through the years. As things changed for both of them, they found themselves both single again. And they then got closer and reconnected in a different way as a couple.
Denver wedding photography in Northglenn
They each had two kids from their previous marriages. Tina’s son gave her away during the wedding. Her daughter was her maid of honor. And Rob’s daughter acted as the ring bearer, while his son was the best man. The ceremony was a lovely intimate wedding at Crossroads Baptist Church in Northglenn.
For portraits we traveled a couple blocks to take photos at a nearby park. My favorite thing is doing wedding and engagement photography in outdoor settings. That was also important to Tina. We scouted out the park location together before the wedding to make sure it would offer some scenic images for them. It worked out to be a great spot! A trail circled a small lake and big beautiful trees shaded the way.
