Estes Park Engagement Photography with Caitlyn & Trevor at Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park

I met up with Caitlyn & Trevor at Lily Lake for this Estes Park Engagement photography session. They asked me for a spot with mountain views and wildflowers. Lily Lake has beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Estes Park. There were also adorable wildflowers blooming all over as well.

The thing that stands out to me the most from this engagement photography session is how goofy and fun Trevor was. At the start of our shoot he joked around about jumping in the lake together for a photo. I told him if we were going to do that we should wait till the end. I was kidding and thought he as well. But then towards the end of our photography session, he picked up Caitlyn and walked into the lake with her over his shoulder. It made me laugh so much!

Having fun during this Estes Park Engagement Photography Session

Overall we had a great time. Caitlyn and Trevor danced. They even danced in the rain towards the end of the engagement photography session. The photo session I had a few days before them was all rain, so this was nice to have a mix of some sun, clouds, and just a little rain at the end.

They told me the story of how they met as we took engagement photos. Caitlyn was on a date with another guy and the date wasn’t going well. Trevor saw her from across the room and basically saved her from this other guy. She said he was super playful and goofy from the day they met and she loves that about him.

Thanks Caitlyn & Trevor!

Caitlyn & Trevor, thanks for allowing me to share in this celebration with you two. I’m super excited to meet up with you and your families for the wedding in September. See you soon!
